Damsoul, which means clear pine, is a carefully distilled form of Solsongju liquor. Immerse yourself in the essence of nature as each sip reveals a delicate pine shoot aroma, a refreshing infusion of pine needles, gentle sweetness, and a silky-smooth finish.
Through a careful 2 year, low-temperature aging process, Damsoul unveils delightful notes of sweetness and creaminess. This artisanal brew by Mrs. Park Heung-Seon captures the essence of purity and freshness.
Damsoul, a distilled version of Solsongju liquor, embodies a centuries-old tradition cherised by the Hadong Clan of the Jeong Family. For 500 years, this treasured family recipe has been handed down generation after generation to keep the legacy alive.
Solsongju (the liquor used to make Damsoul) is carefully produced by Mrs. Park Heung-seon who is the No.27 Korean Food Grand Master, and Intangible Cultural Asset No.35 of Gyeongsangnam-do Province.
Damsoul is best taken in cold temperature. It will elevate the delicate pine scent giving you
much fresh and pleasant woody taste.
Damsoul pairs well with Korean cuisine, but especially well with Hwe (회;pronounced [hwɛ],
sliced raw seafood like sashimi).
